Cafes, restaurants, and a street life you can do partly on foot. The LRT is there, though the good blocks are a walk from the station. A common choice for couples and people who do not want the tower district.
The other central option: food, shopping, and the monorail. Lively, and noisier than a residential week. Easy without a car.
Quieter and more residential, up the hill from Bangsar. Space and privacy. You will drive or Grab. Not the place you pick for a walk to dinner every night.
